HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or other related field with at least ten (10) years working experience in human resource management or a related senior. management position.
  • Must have good command of English language.
  • Must have knowledge of the Labour laws of Belize.
  • Must be familiar with a HRIS or use of computers.
  • Strong leadership skills; highly motivated, self-driven, resourceful individual.
  • Performance-focused, results driven and capable of leading a team for high level performance.
  • Experience in coaching would be an asset.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE EXPECTED TO:

  • Effectively manage all Human Resources functions of CAS Management Group – Belize and ensure that all employee policies and procedures are in compliance with local and statutory obligations.
  • Coordinate administrative matters to provide adequate and safe working environment that is conducive to productivity, quality service and high employee morale.

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants to ensure a high standard of performance that guarantees optimum quality of service.
  • Maintain compliance in accordance with Belize labour laws, recommend best practices, develop and review policies and internal procedures.
  • Implement and manage the Human Resource Information System “HRIS” onboarding process to ensure that employee records are maintained and kept confidential.
  • Develop and implement an annual training plan, and provide guidance, coaching and counselling for employees as required.
  • Implement strategies to develop, motivate and retain employees in order to build loyalty, increase productivity and minimize employee turnover.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain employee policies and procedures and ensure adherence to same.
  • Serve as the point of contact on fundamental HR issues and provide resources and solutions.
  • Implement a performance management system to properly assess and address varying performance levels.
  • Develop, implement and ensure adherence to all health, safety and security protocols.
  • Develop and maintain an emergency and natural disaster preparedness plan and implement as necessary.
  • Manage all administrative functions including but not limited to janitorial services, delivery services, maintenance of stationery and office supplies inventory and equipment use and care.
